I was advised a table saw will cut acrylic nicely, but I don't have one.

Anyone tried a sliding mitre saw or tile wet saw? Both have circular blades....

Sliding mitre saw works just fine, use a blade that you would use for laminate flooring.

Bandsaw, circular skill saw, jigsaw, all work well. I haven't tried a reciprocating sawsall but expect with the correct blade it would work too.

Don't bother with the tile saw as the acrylic would destroy the blade enless you can get a standard saw blade for it. You have a pm heading your way

I used a skill saw and a clamp on guide, like a fence on table saw. I was also only making baffles for my sump so finish wasn't criticle however it seemed to cut true with no noticable high or low spots.

Or use a router and a clamp on guide

Sorry for not replying earlier... this thread got lost in my list.

Thanks for all the input. Now that I have the info I find my plan for a sock holder may not work due to the water level/baffle height in the chamber.
