Hi all,

Just curious if any of you guys and gals use moonlights on your tanks? It annoys me when my lights go off at night and I want to look at my fish still ( I know I could just change light hours).

Does anyone use moonlights and/or which ones would you recommend? I have a 75gal reef tank.

I have looked at everything from eBay setups, stunner strips and everything in between but still cant decide.

Thanks
Dunc

Good Day:

I added an EcoPico LED Strip - 453nm Blue
This is an additional EcoPico LED strip in 453nm Blue (Royal Blue)

to my JBJ 28 Gallon tank. I have it come on before the main lights go off and it stays on for a couple hours. It really lights up the tank.

You buy the light, 12 Volt transformer and I think you can up to three on one.

it was easy as i built a diy LED light, but i use 2x 3watt LEDs on a 350mA driver. lights beautifully and runs all night.

I use the true lumen moonlight add on available through goreef and they work awesome. Also a fair price.

We sell a lot of EcoPico for moonlights.

They have double sided tape on the back so you can just stick them in place or screw them in. Can also get a dimmer and set them to the intensity you want if you think they are to bright.
