So for some odd reason my snowflake eel likes to do circle laps around my Blueline trigger. My Blueline trigger is super aggressive and when he's ****ed off enough he'll take a chunk out of the other fish. What blows me away is that for some reason bizarre reason he doesn't seem to mind/care when the eel swims around him.
Here's a link to the video I took of it on youtube. It's taken with my iPhone (so not the best quality) and the glare from the lights over the other tank doesn't help, but I find it funny to watch.

Not sure, I notice he seems to do that when it's close to feeing time so maybe he's trying to distract the trigger so he can get the food  :noidea:

Nice video.
I could be wrong but dont snowflake rely 100 per cent on smell. If so she is not aware of who she is cuddling. I suspect that most fish leave snake like critters alone

That's right Leah I got him a month or so ago from Neal at Marine experience. I had wanted him for awhile but was scared to add him cause I was worried the trigger would hurt him. Saw the eel at the store and figured I'd risk it since he was so big I figured he could handle himself. Never thought they'd be buds

Absolutely especially since the trigger thinks my fingers are food :twised: Thankfully a good tap on the glass scares him to the back of the tank, and I'm usually pretty quick when I've got my fingers in the tank. He hasn't gotten me yet but has come very close a few times.

I have a snowflake eel about the same size and she never swims out in the open in the day like that. Beautiful specimen you have!

Thank-you. He mostly only swims in the open around feeding time but every now and then he gets adventurous.
