I saw this on TV the other day. Has a couple bad reviews but looked pretty good overall:

Cheapest are still the ones I made to connect to my Apex. Just some wire, couple nails, solder and a small piece of paper towel all taped to sump floor with masking tape. And it automatically stops my pumps and notifies me by email.

I don't think I'll order any because everything I'm currently running will be moved into a fish room soon and I won't be able to hear the alarm until I enter the room anyways. Wish I would have hd these years ago though.

Reef Pilot: Do you know if the same can be done with a Profilux unit?

If the Profilux has inputs that can recognize an on/off condition and is programmable, I would say yes.
