When I tried to grab it with my foreceps the first two split and the head kept right on going.

Just a funny
I'm pretty sure that would be a feat of nature
I think I have more than 1
I had a larger one months ago and last night moved a small one from the sump to DT, so who knows how many I have

Thanks Guys, huge relief. Was thinking flatworms or something similar.

Not sure if one can do that :)

I believe most Gastropods can reproduce sexually or asexually; so yes, 1 can turn into many.

They dont take the cold too well. Thats if they are the same ones i just moved. They are pretty hardy and breed like mad. after 5 hours in a cooler even tho, and there werent many left alive.

Unless they can split themselves (they don't), they still need two to do it.

they are not like aiptasias and cannot split or regrow from a small fragment.

How exactly do they reproduce asexually? Stomatella snails spawn together in the aquarium releasing eggs and sperm. One cannot do it alone. Only one can still release eggs or sperm but that's not going to end up as larvaes.

I don't know about this specific snail but many species are hermaphrodites and capable of auto-fertilization. So asexual reproduction is quite common in gastropods.
