I think I am finally going to shut this tank down. Its been running empty for a few months now, ugh. I have 2 peices of live rock I want to trade off because they have some pests on them and I dont have the patience or space to keep them. The other 3-4 chunks I think I will just toss in my sump or sell... No idea...
One is a nice flat shelf piece. 1 sprig of aiptasia and a whole bunch of hydroids, with hundreads of pods living in all the little holes on it. Toonie sized chunk of gsp on it. Its roughly 12"x6-8" x 1-2" or so....
2nd is probably softball sized ish, odd shaped, few aiptasia and last time I pulled it out I saw 2-3 cute little ball anemones on it but dont see them right now.
Sand is Sugar aragonite, all came from a single 30lb bag back in january.
I just want to remove the fuzzy mushrooms that are attached to these 2 rocks when they are taken, but have no motivation to try and chisel them off until somebody else actually comes for the rocks.
What Id like for these rocks and sand? Just some more cute mushrooms. Green stripe or green fuzzy/hairy/frilly mushrooms. I dont know something on the bright side. Maybe some GSP? Whatever let me know!
