Not the whitish cloves, but rather the 2 different kinds of green paly-lookin' ones
BTW, now you can see why I really regret using dry rock

I have had an algae that looks like that, I think it was a life stage of one of the common ones as I see it now and then but only for a short while. Hard to say from the pic, but if it has a green stock that does NOT mat onto the rocks and join with the neighbours I would say it is algae and not Zoas or palys. Hard to say from the pic though.

Ya I saw that 'rare' bit online
I'd rather not have it, but the wife likes it
I find it to be a bit of a detritus trap, but I can see peeps likin' it as you don't have to look at bare rock
Pretty hardy stuff ...
Grew from LR cooked down to zero params, and in the dark, for 3 months
Maybe I should add some dry rock rubble and start selling frags :razz:
