54"L x 22"W x 20"H w/ 1/2" 3 sided starphire glass, 1.75" holes drilled in the back pane for 1" bulkhead returns. Bottom pane is cracked down the middle and I am not intuitive enough to take the tank apart and reseal it with a new pane. Other than the crack the tank is in good condition, couple scratches on the front & scuff on the corner of the right side but nothing major.

Someone come take this baby off my hands before my new tank arrives. Perfect for a good DIYer.

Bring one or two other people along to pick it up as it is on the 4th floor of a condo complex and I will be unable to help due to a recent knee injury.

$200

I would say the stand is not included as he is having a new tank built to replace this one.

Bump for a great deal if repairable.
Is it a straight crack or diagonal. I would think with a straight crack you could put a straight strip of glass across it with a very generous silicone bead and have no problems. Would cover with a sand bed

you could do that if it didnt stem from the overflow holes..

That does make it tougher for sure. I can say though when I bought my tank used it had corner overflow that was beat up and needed some tlc. I cut it out a caulked a piece of glass over the existing hole and then just re drilled my own hole and built my new overflow the way I wanted.
Not trying to hijack to trying to help with the sale.

haha i know and i appreciate it but there is no way to save this one. the holes have cracks steming all around them and the glass is even starting to chip in this area.

$100 is a great deal. Wouldn't take much to replace the bottom panel.

If I had the room you'd have your new tank already. Lol.
I just built my new tank last night on my kitchen table. Now I'm just waiting on my stand

doubt you even check canreef any more wayne, I am finally getting around to setting up this tank. I bought the glass to fix it right after i picked it up from you but then.. life happened.

up until today i was under the belief all glass in this tank was 1/2"

turns out the sides are all 1/2 and the bottom that cracked is 3/8"

wish i noticed sooner, or perhaps wish you noticed, not sure if t hats how you spec'ed it but perhaps whoever the builder of the tank was "accidentaly" grabbed the wrong piece of glass, Perhaps the 1/2 inch would have withstood you tightening t he bulkheads that close to each other.

Thanks again for the glass, although it has just sit as a paperweight in the garrage for a while perhaps i can get it sorted out soon.
