I guess people don't want to go through the trouble of catching these little intelligent being once they are in the tank :P

I know one LFS had some. Not sure about the current stock though.

The northern most store just off Deerfoot Trail might still have them in stock.

On Saturday, I overheard one staff member there telling a customer "pistol shrimp are compatible with all inverts".

I then proceeded to run head first into a wall since it makes more sense than the knowledge the staff have.

Bingo :)

I have one in a small tank, and I think they only way to get the little fella out will be to remove all of the rock & sand....

I think he means Pisces, I was there yesterday and they had some.

They also had the cutest littlest sexy shrimp I've ever seen.

Yeah that store.

For the record, I had a tiger pistol that took out 3 peppermint shrimp in under a week. Definitely not "all invert" safe in my tank.

So far so good for my two peps with my own pistol. I target feed him in his burrow daily though so I'm sure he's not too desperate but it's still a risk of course.
