Last week, I noticed a few fish fry were swimming around in my HOB refugium. Since I didn't see any clownfish eggs lately, I realized it must have been my pair of damsels. This week, I watched closely and noticed that the male was guarding the Psammocora contigua. So I flipped over the coral and there were lots and lots of eggs. The male is an Azure damsel (Chrysiptera hemicyanea) and the female is a Yellowtail damsel (Chrysiptera parasema). I am not planning to rear the fry as I don't have the means to do it. Others have successfully cross-bred these 2 damsels before. http://reefcentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=18838420&postcount=26
