I was hoping that someone might have some advice for a safer alternative
I'm looking for one with wheels idealy .
Thanks

Brute for sure. The only ones I've ever used. They make food grade bins as well that restaurants use for various applications. Plus they're tough as hell and can take a beating.

I was helping a friend tear down his tank for a over haul
So as pernormal (not with this can)Fish were housed for about
Two hours heater pump etc.
Mid way through I went to check on them to find them all gasping
At the surface and turning pale .
Long story short a few died turns out this can contains
antimicrobials possible cause of fish death ?
Not really sure .
Can was cleaned before use.

Actually the cheaper the can, the better. Less likely to contain ani-microbials (for odor control).

The best solution is actually to use food grade drums. You can find them on Craigslist from time to time for pretty cheap.

There's a garden store in aldergrove on fraser highway that sells 50 gallon food safe tubs for $25. You can't go wrong with them, I have 2 and have had no issues. A little ways from Vancouver, but worth the stop at OC. He's the one who told me about them, and probably has better info on them, might even remember the name of the garden store.
