My grandfather was a captain with the British forces, stationed in Africa, then Italy during ww2. My brother served with the British forces as a second lieutenant in Iraq in 2003. Today I am watching the history channel and all I can say is thank you to all who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the lives we all are able to live today. To those who continue to serve, you see both the best and worst of humanity, be it war on foreign soil or the aftermath of natural disasters at home.
I remember and will never forget.

Very well stated!
Thanks to all who have put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms.

Well put Sheena - Thank you
I am very proud of all 3 of my Grandfathers and think of them quite often.
Thankfully they all came home from WWII and I was able to learn of their service ... so I may appreciate everything they did.
