I'm sure this has probably been brought up in the past. I have some hair algae in my 30 gal tank that need to be taken care of. I did have a few turbo snails, but the all 3 have died over the past 3-4 months from flipping over and not being able to upright them self. I do have a couple of Bumble Bee and nassairius snails that I have had about 1 year but they do not seem to be interested at all in the hair algae. What type of snail do you all recommend I add to my tank that I would not have to reach in and flip upright? I should add that I do have 2 or 3 small Blue Leg hermits

You should try and find yourself a sea hare.

I have 3 Strawberry tophat snails in my 75g and they work way harder than the 6 turbos I started with
They haven't ever fallen either
Everything is glued down so no issues with their large size

I also have 1 black longspine urchin that works hard

I tried a sea hare and it only ate short, soft algae. I have no idea how it would have worked out longterm as a hidden crab ate it
Also, one time it dropped off the glass and I had to rescue it from an MP10 nozzle

+ to the strawberry tophats

trochus snails are nice too, ring cowries also work well (altho not too sure how effective with GHA)
