I have been having some phosphate issues with my tank so my corals are not doing well but I have also noticed that they are closing even more when my halides are on. I replaced one bulb a few months ago and the other about 6 months ago. They are 250 watt 13000 k for a 90 gallon tank. Is this too much? I have them only on 4 hours a day. I was going to do them for longer but the corals don't seem happy with them on.

Are you sure they're still alive...

Hammer is still alive but the frogspawn is barely opening now. Is it too far gone?

I'll take a picture tomorrow when they are open again.

If there's an intact mouth its not too late although by the looks of it they won't make it.

Brown jelly??

I run a 250 w halide 20000k on my 25g cube thats only 18" corals can handle lots of lgjt but they need to be acclimated to it.
