Worm ID

While doing my water change today, I thought of looking around the substrate and discovered worms!

I am guess those are bristle worms but just wanted to confirm. I actually found three different worms: typical bristle worm (I guess) (Picture 1), a tube like worm (Picture 2) and a fatter worm that looks like bristle worm (Picture 3).

Alongside, I saw two or three greenish thread-like something which looked like green hair algae coming out from a rock but when I tried to grab it, it went inside. The thing is way too thin to capture a photo with my phone. Any idea?

Another thing I noticed is a white formation (soft sponge like) around the skeleton of my candy cane (Picture 4). Is it forming skeleton or what is it? The canes are generally opened all the time and eats like pig.

I always dip my coral but the other day, I ran out of it and so I decided to put in some corals that I got from LFS and these things started appearing :sad:

The tube like one in Picture 2 is also a bristleworm?

Picture 2 is hard to tell with the camera flash, is it a hard tube or is it a soft worm? The white thing on the candy cane is a sponge.

Pic 2 is probably sabellidae worm (feather duster)

Its a soft worm and would start coiling whenever disturbed. Maybe this picture would help?

And about sponge, I wonder how it starts appearing from no where? And isin't sponge a sign for good water quality too? :D

And about the green thing, can you please help me out with it too? :) :

Not quite sure what that worm is...the thread like things might be spaghetti a worm, they are good scavengers as well. And yes sponge is good also as it filters your water for you. :)

Great :D Thank you so much. I always get worried whenever I see something creepy in the tank and always take them out before goggling or anything :P

BTW I guess you missed the green hair algae like thing that retracts when touched part :smile: The thing is too thin to be captured with my phone but it looks exactly like hair algae but when touched, retracts back into the rock crevice. Any idea? :D

I am thinking it might be a spaghetti worm...they have thin tentacles that come out...they are good as well.
