I'm just wondering if your talking about brine or mysis or if you are looking for larger shrimp to feed something such as a lionfish. I've just never heard someone refer to "feeder shrimp" so just curious if your are looking for a specific type of shrimp.

I've seen them at place's like Big Al's and PJ's pets. You could set up a small tank, buy a few and raise them yourself. There's not a lot of "healthy" and cheap options that I can think of. People breed molly's as feeder fish as they can be accustomed to live in salt water but how good they are for marine species as a diet has come into question. I am assuming you are looking for live foods so you can see the frog fish in action.

If he doesn't take frozen right away you may be able to coax him into it by dangling silversides near him with feeding tongs.

Petsmart is the best price at $0.99 a piece for ghost shrimp, just don't tell them they are food as sometimes the staff can be overly sensitive. They seem to sell out quick though so you might want to phone around.

I use cherry shrimp, easy to breed and low maintenance

BWA Edmonton posted that they are going to start to carry feeder shrimp, not sure if they have started yet.
