Baby Fungia.

Thats what I thought at first but is it normal for them to have a taller base? Its base is about 12mm tall and its only about 12mm across, also its anchored to the rock.

Yep, they can do that. They will look like little mini (edible) mushrooms.

Fungia. They grow a skeletal stalk until they are big enough. Then they let go and become sand dwelling.

Hey Tyler mind if I add a hitchiker to your thread that came in the middle of these watermellon mushrooms. Bye the way is that a hammer to the right side of the picture?

Ok what should I do with it? BTW is that a hammer on the right side of the pic. Sold to me as a frogspawn, new to these corals so I'm not sure.
