Take the pipe out and run under hotwater , it should release... If not use a toothbrush to remove!

Are you sure that is an anemone??

BTW if it is, using a tooth brush to remove may promote more new ones. In the case of Aiptasia sp. every bit of tissue left in your system may regenerate into another anemone. Using something like a toothbrush could shred one anemone into many many more future anemones.

It's an orange ball anemone which is not really an anemone at all but is a corrallimorph, belonging to the mushroom family

very true , i find them a nice addition and they take up all the dark spots that are hard to fill anyways:)

they are quite sticky and will accept large meaty foods and everything in between:)

I've also heard them referred to as strawberry anemone. I have a few in my tank and they are definetly harmless.

I shouldve been more descriptive when I said take out and run under hotwater and if it fails scrub with tooth brush in your sink... But since you have many more in your tank manual removal may be harder.

If you try to scrub anything in your tank you could definitely create more problems or even kill other corals in your tank, don't scrub anything other than algae off the glass in your tank, always remove and scrub in sink.....
