I picked up a goby today, changes colors, blue, yellow, white. Can't find what it's actually called. No pics, still acclimating. Thanks

You must have got it from ocean creations :D Expensive fish but worth it! And yap its a flashing tilefish!

I just finished putting a ghetto screen cover over the top, he's in my 55. He's acclimated, swimming and eating!

Yep got him from oceans, expensive for sure so don't want him surfing out of the tank. The flashing I read is due to stress, so as cool as it is to watch him change colors, I don't want him stressed!

I'll throw a pic up when he's out a bit more, just checked and he's hiding again.

I also got a little one spot fox face, gotta admit he's kinda cute, thanks for talking me into it! He's in the 180.

I'm really enjoying my one spot. He is a bit of a going concern (he's very easily stressed), but he seems to be settling down more and more. I just found him up in the top corner of the tank with his snout practically out of the water. Everything tests fine.

He's gobbling up the algae, and cyano. Isn't nipping any polyps that I can see. Loves mysis.

I'm sure you're really going to enjoy yours. :)

Just for your guys info a small one spot fox face does better in the long term off of .08 semi sinking pellets then frozen and they are a herbivores.
Just saying I love mine! But I try to get all my fish on pellets over frozen!
Also a nori sheet once a week or so is great.

From what I can find on the web, that's a nice looking goby you got there Sheena
And you're going to love your new fox

Shelley, the jury is still out, but I'd suggest removing the cyano from your QT as it may upset the fox's system
Cyano is a bacteria, not algae

I also feed mine mysis, and pellets, but I am feeding Nori every other day or so to flush his system as he may have had constipation from not enough veggies

I spoke with a member about this as our Smudge was releasing stringy poops after pellets and mysis
The extra feedings of nori and some spirulina pellets seem to have taken care of it

I am so over feeding my tank right now as it is with the anthias, my tank looks well, full of crap, including cyano. Thanks for the note on clearing it, I don't want the fox face eating it, I feed nori a couple times a week, a sheet lasts seconds in my tank, my clowns and radiant wrasse love it as much as the tangs.

The goby is very cool, I'll definitely get a pic up this weekend. Seems his main color is blue with orange on his fins.

Very nice pics Matt. He looks pretty small. I hope my guy does well. My wrasse took food right out of his mouth, hopefully he settles in quickly.

Glad you read my post about the cyano ...
I actually was directing it at Shelley about her fox in QT, so I hope she sees this
Ya, a little hijacking, but since you mentioned a foxface ....
