I have these two snail like things. They almost look like slugs and mostly stick to the glass. They look like a snail without a shell. There was originally only one but now there are two that I know of.

How big are they?

Google:

Nutibranches?
Planaria?
Sea Hare?

Maybe one of those, Good Luck.

I'd also say stomatella
Nothing wrong with having them

Try to get a pic or 2 for us, but they are nocturnal so good luck with that ...

I would say they are the size of the finger nail on my index finger. Where would they have come from? do they reproduce rapidly? are they ok in my tank? Will they eventually inhabit a shell.

It's tough to get a positive Id without a pic. You could have stomatellas though they could be nudibranches which are bad. I would google it if you can't get a pic

if they are the size of your finger nail then the are stomatella snails they breed constantly and are algae grazers. they come out all times of the day....
