Par38 for clams

Will 2 par38 led bulbs be sufficient for maxima clams? They'll be in a 18x18 cube with only a 4" water depth

Talk to imisky, he runs par 38, for his sps tank although he supplements with t5 and his tank is rather shallow....

I think the answer is yes...but there are different quality PAR38's out there...so which ones were you thinking about. With only 4" of water, I would want something dimmable as you might just cook the clams at full pop.
