I know eh? When I turned the car around to confirm what I saw, my wife sarcastically said "OMG why don't you just knock on the door and ask if he wants to come out and play?" I thought about it.

This is kinda funny as I have a salt bucket and live rock (had manjanos on it so I'm drying it out) on my front doorstep right now.

blue light doesn't promote plant growth, it 's the wrong spectrum.

True point! Gotta get the red spectrum going for great growth

Actually, you need both red and blue spectrum for plant growth. One promotes stem growth, the other foliage. So, for a higher yeild, errr ....... I'm incriminating myself here... I should stop.

Though one time I did ask someone if they were an aquarist because I saw the blue light at night, and he told me that his roommate was actually growing plants in the living room with his old MH fixture he used to use over a tank. I had a pretty good laugh.

Only way to make sure your "food plant" is truly organic, is when you actually grow your own!!!!
