I am wondering what you use to clean your glass in a nano tank. I use a Magfloat cleaner for my nanocube and it doesn't seem to clean the glass at all. Also, the magnetic part seems to separate from the holder quite easily.
I had the same trouble, even with the largest mag float, I figured the larger would hold better, but no such luck. I use one of those hand held glass scrapers and one of the mag cleaners from Walmart, as the magnets is pretty strong even on 3/8" glass

magfloat is best for giving a wipe for film, a proscraper was one of the best reef purchases I made

I will give the proscraper a try. I am sure anything will be better than the magfloat.
