Just finished a WC and scouting for Aiptasia to target with Aiptasia-X, I found this.

What the heck is it? Should I be concerned about it and try to remove it?

Looks like egg clutches (maybe snail eggs?) How big are they? Hard to tell from the pics. Almost look like weird chain of round barnacles.

I would have said egg clutches as well.... But the holes in the middle are throwing me off. Not sure mang! Wierd lookin for sure.

Have you touched them yet? Soft or Hard? Could be some form of barnacle if they are hard.

Tunicates. :)

A sign of good water as they are difficult to keep.

On board with the tunicate ID, eggs wouldn't have the large incurrent siphon hole.

Maybe tunicate colony?

I believe you are right about them being a tunicate colony. I've been Googling around and have found pics very similar to what I have. They have been multiplying a bit also as I have found more on the other side of the rock. Part of them share a bigger siphon.

I'm not sure if I have that great of water quality considering that I'm still battling GHA and I've slowed WC's down to only once every 2 weeks or so.

Thanks to everyone for the ID and help!!!
