I just noticed a bunch of tiny astrea snails in my biocube 14. They are perfect tiny replicas, and are pretty cute. Is there anything I can do to help them grow up? They are in a tank with 2 clown and a CUC of hermits and various snails.

I would think the hermits will probably make short work of them. They are pretty slow and vulnerable when small.

Now I know very little about the numbers of offspring they have so it's possible some could survive.

If you want them to have the best chance you could transplant some to your sump or refugium, if you have?

Agreed. Sump is where my babies do best. They get eaten by the hermits rather quickly in the DT.

It is a biocube so no sump or fuge...what if I put them in one of the back chambers? Would I have to throw some food in there for them?

So, I am happy to say that the babies are growing up nicely and new ones seem to keep hatching. I guess at some point I will be selling some snails cheap. Here are some pics...
