Can corals sting clams??? and oh yeah can anemone sting clams too?<= i m thinking anemones can sting clams

yup i would say they would too?

why would a clam be an exception? don't anemones sting everything?!

well i know that anemones sting everything jsut wanted to make sure.... and plus i ve read on some forums that clams are not affected by coral's sting ...so just wanted to double check.

I have a friend with a 12" clam and the bubble tipped anemone touches it almost 24/7 with no effect, so I'm not sure... (the clam was only about 6 inches when I first saw it a year and a half ago...

I have one of my croceas touching a hydnophora, one of the more agressive sps out there. The mantle drapes right on top of it. Other sps have been less fortunate when they came within a few centimeters of it. My other crocea drapes over mushrooms and an encrusting porites of some kind with no ill effects.
