I've seen a couple of really nice DIY LED builds out there that used some pretty slick cord connects, switches built in timers, and project boxes.

Does anyone know of a good website that carrries an assortment of DIY eletronics parts? I've wasted a few too many hours on fleabay trying to track down what I need and haven't had much luck finding a decent website other than dealextreme. Any help is appreciated.

Digikey is a bit on the pricey side, though they have good selection. Try Mouser or Newark for better prices.
