View Full Version : Electronics Nerds lend me your help
Probably a stupid thread to post lol.. BUT
My HTC desire HD is really touchy when I try to charge it, the cord has to be plugged in just so. if you bump it or look at it the wrong way, it won't charge, its not the cord cause I have a few different ones, so I am assuming its the port where you plug in.. is this something that can be repaired by me or something I should send my phone away for? If anyone knows a fix that would help. I took the phone apart and used an airduster in it. that didnt help.. If I end up sending it away does anyone have any experience in time frame for repairs etc, and do you get a temp. phone during the repair?

If you opened the case you have voided the warranty. Sorry.
I have returned my Nexus One to HTC on two occasions and it was not fun.
Try cleaning the USB port with some IPA and make sure nothing in there looks bent.
Lol guess I should be more specific not opened but took off the battery door and sd card door
