This frag is a chunk of porous rock that is infused with bryopsis. Can't risk this algae in my tank. Pick up Surrey only.

Interesting. What strength was the peroxide before diluting?

cant recall off hand i know i got it from the pharmacy , it was like $2 :P

with that much you will have to pull off what you can and dip, i used 50/50 and worked fine as i only had a frag on a plug to do.

i left it in the peroxide untill it fizzed, 2 days later gave a second bath:)

*** also works wonders for getting red and green off your powerheads!!!!***

Standard 3%. I use a 4:1 ratio of tank water to peroxide and dip for 5 minutes.

you may not get it all the first dip, but as denny said its good to do a follow up dip a few days later

I've gone as extreme as 50/50 for zoa dip... but do so at your own risk

I did 50/50 with a 3% peroxide so final strength was 1.5% The rock and algae bubbled furiously but the polyps stayed calm with hardly a bubble... A good sign. I think the coral slime was for the most part non reactive and I'm confident this will work. Lights are off now so morning will tell.
Thanks all for the good suggestion.
