Just for an idea, check out some of Laguna's pond pumps. I'm running the 2900 in my sump now for 9 months, my LFS runs one in their place for a couple tanks for a couple years now and they're pretty decent pumps. The do require a bit of retrofit for our application but seem to run really well. Mine draws 160W of power but gives me well into the 1200 gph after 12' of head.

Thanks.
I should clarify that the pump will be going into a 90 gallon main display to feed a vertex mocean 2000. So im looking for something with a small foot print.

IF you're on their web site looking at the pics, it's huge, I know. The pump inside that housing is actually quite small. That's what I meant when I said they need some retrofit for our application. From the intake to the back of the pump itself is roughly 7", it's 5" wide and about 3 1/2" thick. I doubt you would need one that big. With no head it's rated at 2900 gph so going with something like the Maxflow1500 might be enough for you. It is kind of a weird shape though, so it may not fit your needs. Just thinking outside the box :)

I have an extra Eheim Compact 3000 that I would sell if interested. Hardly used, $80. PM me if you want to deal.
