Yeah it's pretty cool
I got it today for my B-day
It was on back order from Canon for about 3 weeks and then Mr UPS came a knocking today

I have taken a few test shots in the tank, I will try to post them soon!
I have to play with some functions like the diffuser and some fine tunning settings so don't expect any award winning shots just yet

dang. i was actually thinking of picking one of those up! we have the same camera too!

on short notice my wife booked us a trip to cancun for the end of the month. so i figured since i want one of those anyway (for when i hopefully return to fiji) i figured i could use one on this trip. but i'm not a big fan of the atlantic reefs... brains and gargs, so i think i'll wait a while before i get one.

whered you get it rich, ebay has them for ~$200US with shipping etc.

let me know how you like it.

O.k. here's a few pics that turned out, a couple with and without the diffuser, oh I'm gonna have some fun with this new toy

Shao, this housing is really well designed, much like a pro series housing and it allows the user all full functions too. I have no complaints yet but then again I'm only going down half a foot. I need some open water to put it to the real test, and it's good for 30m or 100ft. I picked it up through London Drugs on special order and the cost was about the same as the ebay price.

Here's the pics:

Do you use a remote?

Mark, no handheld and it makes tripod placement challenging to say the least

Hey Christy thanks for the words, guess I'll have to bring it along for our visit

Jason,
Try London Drugs, if they can't help you then I would phone Kit's or Broadway Camera's. If your model was a popular seller then you should be able to get one!

I have a suggestion for you using it in Cancun.... I took mine there and was going to take it snorkling, i put it in the case and everything, after snapping a few pics it fogged over, due to it being so humid there. So make SURE you pack it in your air conditioned room (which i did) BUT make sure you also get some silca gel packs and place them in the case to absorb any moisture trapped, this is really important to stop fogging, canon recommended this and i completley forgot about it.

Thanks for the tip spike, I will keep that in mind when I go.
I also got some anti fog solution that came with the housing.

What's that big yellow thing in the last photo?

Quinn,

It's a sponge that I have had for about two years. I have watched it grow from pea size to now golf ball size. I have a second one thats starting to take shape on the other side of the reef as well.
