I have 2- 250 metal halide lights over my 220 g. tank now. I am switching over to Radion Led's. Any suggestions on how i should attempt this. I think 4 Led units should be enough. I know that my 4' halide is a little small for the 6' tank. Pretty much want to be able to grow any kind of coral.

Start of with them at around 40% then slowly increase it after that. Simple

Speaking from epxperience from impatience and bad results from cranking them up to quick do what AquaticFinatic said.

I think the radions have a 2'x2' coverage so if the tank is standard 220 (72x24dx30t) you should be ok with 3 units
Plus the 2 cross braces would basically block 1/2 of 2 units if you were to purchase 4
But I don't own radions so this is all hear say

Well i ended up with 6 units. The price was too good to turn down. All set at 40% for 12 hours a day. I guess i will se how that goes.
