ive been pondering about building a new tank as of lat and cant quite decide on dimensions. i want the deep look of a cube as well as the towering cliff look of a tall tank, so i wanted something like 30x30x30. is 30" simply too deep to work with?

My FOWLR is 36"W x 24"D x 30"T & my 300 is going to be 30"T.

My tank is 30" deep. I really like the look, but definitely a bitch to work in. Next tank will be a little shallower.

Not really, but I did use a 3 step ladder when I set it up. I have never really done anything in it YET.

I ran a 30x30x30 cube for 6 or 7 years. It is a neat size.

Reaching the bottom was a challenge but you find ways. A stepladder and reachy grabby tools worked fine for me.

Afraid not, sorry. I'm not sure who ended up with it. It was rehomed to someone who didn't end up setting it up and as far as I know it got sold to someone else on Canreef..

I have a 30" tank comming my way and I know it will be a hassle to work on but to me the look of a tall tank is worth the extra effort. So ya it is a b**** but no pain no gain right.
