I just bought a oceanic aquarium model 75E (Glass) and it does have the temperd glass bottom, is it possible to drill the back plate, and if so would it b best to drill it at the bottom just like u would normally drill or would u set up the hole at the top for your overflow????

Any help would b appreciated, would really like to get rid of my external overflow...

you should be able to drill the back plate as long as you know its not tempered as well. i would drill further up the over flow and if you have the room outside, make an external durso pipe like on this page:

If you don't have the room outside but you have the room inside the overflow, put the durso inside

check out the info on this website for more info

Is your overflow already built in?
