View Full Version : 66 gallon cube Build

Well a year ago we shut down and sold our 180 gallon tank due to having another baby on the way and NO time for matinence. However like everyone knows you don't stay away for long! So we have started to build a 66 gallon cube. (bought from a fellow canreefer!)
Got the rock acclimating for over a month now and just started the stand this weekend.The stand is one unit made out of 2x4s we used 15 of them so that way the canopy is floating over the tank. The canopy will have some shelving in it for food and other things we want out of sight but want it close. We plan on running the trim on the walls and tieing it in with the stand Here are some pictures of our tank build so far

It's not done needs prep and paint :) and a bit more trim still
Then it will be filling time!! Which is what I'm excited for!!!
