I don't know what you consider cheap but Dylan has a metal halide unit for $300 http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=84092

Little oversized for that 20" but if its hanging it wouldn't be that much of an issue.

you could probably do a DIY build from modularled.ca for pretty cheap on a tank that size. I would guess less then $200 depending on what your looking for

low light corals then. you could build a light cheap or even do a couple of panorama pro modules for around the same price. my money is on DIY for this one. or a t5 fixture too. but led is the winner in my books

I have 3 OC I.C.E Cool Par 38's available. 27 watts each 14k color. Uses 9 3watt Cree LEDs. Two would be bitchin' on a 20 cube. 3 would be even better. Plus I can bring them up to EDM for ya as I drive semi up and back every evening. $50 each.

I purchased two dimmable drivers, 2 reostats(dimmers), 14 x 3W LED, optics, heatsink, hanging kit and wiring for $105 shipped. It's DIY so you will need to learn how to solder but you cannot beat the price. The LEDs are Bridgelux, the outfit always throws in extra bulbs so my 14 bulb purchase ended being 16. You can buy complete DIY kits up to 120 emitters

nano-reef.com is where I found them and everyone there who has purchased them is as happy as I am. Check it out here:
