Just want to find out if anyone has ever looked into or kept jellyfish? I want to setup a tall cylindrical tank to keep moon jellies. I want to find out where to get them and some pointers on keeping them.

Moon jellies are a tougher to get your feet wet with as they require a planktonkriessel and live baby brine up until they are roughly 2 inches when you can switch them to prepared foods like cyclopeeze. It not impossible, just takes more work and set up. I fully encourage you to go for it.

The easier ones to start with are cassiopea (upside-down) jellies. They're photosynthetic and can take a bit more abuse as they naturally occur on disgraced rather than open water, so you won't need a kreisel.

I know they are a lot harder to keep than most think, and their tanks are pretty expensive to purchase.

Here is a good site:

My buddy ordered from them and they actually have great customer service, and stand by their product.

Thanks for the link. However, they don't ship livestock to Canada. If anyone knows of Canadian dealers, please let me know.

Okay this is unrelated but what's up with all the Homer Simpson avatars and pics in people's signatures? I can think of at least 3 people with them.

and back to topic:

What a cool idea! I wonder is anyone has kept a box jellyfish like in 7pounds with Will Smith.
