i have sponge popping up everywhere in little white spikes that turn dark in color and also coating the undersides of caves and ledges with thick layer of yellowish almost fluffy lookin sponge.

it is not a big deal for the most part, but it is coming up alot and the yellow stuff is bugging my colt if the current takes him into it.

looking for something like a dwarf angel that is likely to nibble on sponge and hopefully not my lps.

A wrasse might be better then an angel. They kind of keep a lot of different things in check.
They are also an awesome fish!

I think only some angelfish will eat those, but cutting down your nutriment will help also.

Sponges are healthy in an aquarium and I have read that they also help SPS growth.

Blue linkia or marbled starfish eat them.

If you upgrade your skimmer from that coralife thing to something larger and of higher quality that will help to cut down on their growth.

that is definitely something that is in the works... i am very much looking forward to not having to adjust the skimmer twice a week to prevent overflowing/producing no skimmate.
