Had my Concepts tank/stand/sump delivered today.
Wasn't as bad to get in the house as I had thought it would be. (thanx guys!) Will post up some pix as soon as I can. (new house no net access yet)

Build is gonna be in spurts as I have to fit everything in with moving and my week off, plan it to have it cycled and the livestock from my 70 in Kelowna in it by end of April.

Equipment so far consists of:
Vertex IN 280 skimmer
36" 6 lamp tek (other 1 is in Kelowna)
2x mp40's + 4 mj 1200's
BRS 75gpd RO/DI
Quiet one 6000 return
Various plumbing parts.


Tank is 180 gallon Starfire with 36" external overflow centered on the back.Drilled for Beananimal overflow. 75 gallon sump (skimmer JUST fits)

So, lets see 75 gpd ro/di...roughly 230 gallons of space to fill...hmm this is gonna take awhile. lol.

Tank is about 1/2 full. picked up a 150 gallon pd water saver that seems to be speeding things up. also picked up 50 of lr soaking in a tub. one piece weighs 22lbs! few pieces of branch thrown into the mix as well. will be waiting and asembling my dry rock tomorrow, then back up north. :(

didnt do alot this time out. set up my ATO, changed a bit of plumbing. added a small clean up crew and added sand to the fuge area,bout 4 inches of sugar sand. waiting on sand for the display till I bring the rest of my lr fom kelowna. next days off is when all livestock gets moved. 9hrs + in transit. heres hoping everything makes it.

That tank looks awesome! I love the overflow setup as well. Can't wait to see some livestock in it.

Have 2 on there with magnetic frag plugs. :) belive it or not about 90% of my corals were in my old 70. was little cramped.

What a beautiful tank. I also really like the overflow. I wish I would have had the room for an external one on my 180 :)
