I have ais on my sps tank, nothing but good things to say about them. I have mine set up with a fairly long ramp up, about 4 hours then 100% for 6 hours and 4 hours ramp down. Sps colors are awesome under the intense lighting. I also have a retrofit 28 Cree 3w LEDs into my biocube with also good results.

Very happy with my DIY LED's, everything in my tank is looking very nice. My growth on many of my Zoas is incredible, I even have a coupl unknown SPS in the tank now doing pretty good. My Duncan's, RBTA & long tentical anemone are also look gret too.

Also using vertex illumina, awesome light, great growth and the flexibility of customizing the light to your desire. Not to mention the power savings and less heat you get from running led's. LED's all the way!!

I know someone that 6 AI's on a 6' 220gal tank... the SPS growth is incredible. Every time I go over there I can see it.

I am going with 2 Ecotech Radions on my 120 build.

I've been on LEDs for almost now on a full SPS tank (it will be a year in 2 days) Everything seems fine. I run the ecorays on my frag tank an all SPS frags are growing in there as well. Clams in my display continue to grow and I'm sad as I might have to get rid of my football sized clam soon due to it being too large.
