I think if you find a clam like this you are shelling out hundreds...upwards of 200 for sure, probably much more. IDK..never seen one like that.

Any clam under 2" will have a lot lower survival rate, they need target feedings as they are not large enough to live off light.

These are surely perty! I would love to "shell" out some cash to get one of these but I don't seem to have much luck with clams...

I found a supplier (well given contact by one of my distributors) Here is a list of what they carry, for me to have what I like it has to be a lot full or should say a box full.Do pm me if interested in a group buy for those beautiful clams:biggrin:
.Tridacna Maxima sizes are from 3" up to 5" coloration are neon green, midnight blue, gold speckle, teardrop goldeye.
.French Polynesian Tuamotu maxima 3" to 5" no specified color
.Tridacna crocea (ultra color) 3" up to 5" mix rainbow, violet blue, blue green, sky blue stripe golden.
.Tridacna Squamosa 3" up to 5"(assorted multi colors and pattern)
Tridacna gigas. 5' up to 8" multi color
Tridacna deresa 3" up to 5" (multi pattern and ultra coloration)

A message with the email from the distributor as these clams are aquacultured untill 1.5" then placed undersea for the remainder prior for picking, then placed in trays for cleaning and quarantined prior to distribution.
For pricing they ranges between $40 up to $60 depending of the availability of sizes and coloration of my order, regardless of what I ask for they will have to fill the order as I need to pick choice #1 then #2 for each clam.
I would like to get some as I think the prices I see online or in stores are crazy $$$ and would be more interested in 3" to 4" as I would like to enjoy the growth of my clam in my reef.
Please any input is greatly appreciated.
