Just took apart my new to me, used vertex in100 pump because it would not start.
The impeller is cracked so I think that is the problem.
Apparently the 80 and 100 pumps are interchangeable.
There isn't a name on the pump so I assume its the original.
Thanks

They are indeed the same pump. They re the Resun 5 pump. You can get new impellers from JL I believe. Is the impeller cracked or is it the shaft? I have a spare shaft if that's what's broken.

Thanks Steve, no its the impeller itself that is cracked and swelled due to rusting. It was a b**** to get out.
