found new growth on my live rock.
looks exactly like an aiptasia, but completly transparent and with little white balls on the end of each tentical.

any ideas?


- very small + ****ty camera = no picture

i personally dont think they are harmful and they are neat looking.they are nocturnal and mostly found in dark places.you can feed it if you like, i feed it chopped mysis sometimes if im feeling generous lol:) they also come in orange my last tank had orange ones and my current tank has clear ones.

and if i remember correctly its actually a mushroom and not an anemone so the names def misleading lol :)

agreed, very neat looking.
only have a few softies in my tank, so its nice to have anything new grow in there.

about how big will it get ?

not very big maybe loonie sized at best, theres prob more then you think they hide well:)

Not really.
Mushrooms and Nems are very close cousins...
