I just received a Panasonic TM900 video camera!!! So, before I even looked at the manual, I had to shoot a video of the tank. It's a pretty nice camera. I'm sure when I learn how to use it properly, it will be even nicer.

Sorry about the song - cliche, I know, but my wife insisted

Obviously, it's better in 480 - full screen. Couldn't figure out how to upload in 780.

Enjoy!

Anyone know how to embed the video? I tried every way I could think of, but none of it seemed to work.

Thanks

I don't think we can embed videos here, we've discussed it before and well I can't remember what we came up with. I don't think we have the right widgets or something like that (not widgets but some other computery technical term that I can't bring to mind at the moment).

Anyhoo, just wanted to say your tank looks awesome, I'm totally jealous of your nice white sandbed.

Matt that was simply fantastic! One of the best reef vid's i have seen, and the music was wonderful.
Great footage, did you have to adjust white balance and such?
What editing software did you use?

My favorite shots were of the dancing pink milli an the sand sifting goby,
I was enjoying it too much to notice how white the sand is tho:biggrin::razz::wink:

Thanks everyone!

I edited it in iMovie. Nothing special, just cut and paste and a little trimming here and there. I adjusted the color slightly, but the camera really did a good job at picking up true colors with it's own white balance setting. The color in the video is exactly what i see.

I always vacuum the sandbed when I do water changes, but I noticed a big difference after getting the sand sifting goby.

Cheers!

Hehe. I WISH! Maybe in a year or so, when everything grows in. For now, it seems transitional to me. But I'm VERY happy with it, of course!

I do try to keep the sand clean, but really, I give credit to the Sand sifting Goby. Since I got him, it's been pretty spotless.

Cheers
