I read some pretty good infor about this stuff and wanted to get some, but not sure if anyone arounf here sells it.

http://www.jlaquatics.com/product/hy...+(3+Pack).html

Was also thinking about trying descal that you use to clean coffee pots and such sounds very similar.

Any comments, anyone have any or know where to get it here?

Let me know.

Thanks
Todd

I use Vinegar & Water for your "normal" build ups. If you have something very stubborn and you're very careful you can use Muriatic acid (aka spirits of salt). I'd go Vinegar & water and increase soak times and leave the Muriatic Acid to the concrete tasks. :)

yuppers straight vinager and leave it for 24 hrs or you can add PH down. to the fresh water to soak that will take alot of stuff off due to the down in PH it will down the PH down to 5.5 and then it will flake off. JUST SAYIN:razz:

The product works very well but it is quite expensive. I bought some at Big Als in Calgary.

Any idea if Dezcal descaler would work as well? smilar type product, and should be safe since we use it on coffee posts, etc.

Just wondering :)
