View Full Version : Rhomboid Wrasse
I am looking to buy a couple of these beautiful wrasses and I am sure there are people on here who keep them.
Anyone want to post their experience with them?

we had a pair, beautiful fish, lots of flashing, good eaters and always swimming in the open, BUT!!!! they are JUMPERS, we have lids but both jumped out during a feeding, the male survived but sadly the female did not.
Thanks for the post Cal_stir. How long ago did you have them? Do you have pictures of the fish?
I am putting a mesh screen top over my tank so I can feed without removing the top.

about 8 months, you still have to be very careful when doing any maintenance with the screen off, we watch him like a hawk now, we are trying to find another female.
I'll take a pic

she was nicer, they flashed constantly, it was incredible, they changed colour almost instantly, she would glow yellow, i guess thats why they're called golden flasher wrasses
