Anyone know where I can get some heavy duty shims like ez-shims in Calgary or even metal shims to level my stand. Ones that won't rot on me.

If there is a Gregg's Distributors in Calgary you could try there. They sell shim kits and refills in SS.

Go to a welding shop and see if they have any pieces around that they cut while setting there band saw blades. That's where I get my 4" round disks for my stand adjuster foot pads.

They have some cheap plastic toilet shims that would probably crack on me or wood at home depot. I will check on these other places

Most glass companies should stock plastic/vinyl shims in an assortment of shapes and sizes for dirt cheap or possibly free.

Would those lee valley ones work? I saw those the other day and I still have a gift card for there.

To shim my 400 I used a variety of strange things including metal washers, miscellaneous brackets and even some ikea flat door handles. Go metal and use anything you can find that's flat.
