LOL, hoarder  Isn't it a sigh of relief finally getting rid of aiptasia?

Stupid question, pic #2, are those BLUE mushrooms? That is some serious blue!

Wowee, I hope mine looks half as good in 3-4 years.
Is it just me, or does the Tonga-ish rock right back corner look like a Moose ?

mine are orange, I might have some red ones in there somewhere though, I haven't seen those ones lately, I'll see if I can find one/pry one off. I'll warn you though, once the oranges are happy they reproduce like crazy

Love the acans! Does stuff collect inbetween them pretty badly?

They are packed in there pretty tight.. So nothing much gets trapped.. Except cyano.

When I bought some Hawaiian Volcano shrimp from J&L last month, I read that they feed on cyanobacteria. As a test (since I don't always trust what I read online:wink:), I took some small pieces of live rock with cyano and even turkey basted cyano into their 5 gallon tank. Sure enough, there's no sign of cyano anywhere in there. They just slurped it up. This is the link to the source of this original info:

Unfortunately, if you have fish in the tank, the Volcano shrimp will become expensive snacks much quicker than they will be able to perform their cyano biological control:sad: Looking again at your pics, it does look fish free.

If I come to the Victoria swap meet at the end of the month, I can pop into J&L and grab a few Volcano shrimp for you if you want and if they are still in stock.

Thanks for the offer, but I have a tang, a six line, and a pink tail trigger in there that would finish them off overnight!

I've learned not to stress over the small things.. I just stir it up every other day or so..
