I call these the Edmonton Eskimo Zoos, as the colours remind me of them...
These are colonizing quite well, growing over the sandbed, and there is a 2"x3" piece that could be separated easily enough. The original frag plug is under there somewhere... (I think Deb brought these back from Ocean Aquatics?)

Takers? Offers? Football fans??

My tanks have large numbers of zoos that look very similar. Most of mine have blue centers, however. Any interest in those

What kind of blue we be talkin' 'bout here, Bob? Real blue or blue-ish?

I think we are talking about small star shaped centers that are light blue. That of course depends totally on the light. There is also no dark green around the centers like yours. I have some in my upstairs nano that get morning sun, and then the centers are yellow.

I'm sure I have those too, but can't find a good picture. These them?

They are nice and subtle, with those variable centers...

I also have this piece from the small tank - it is sulking since the addition of the BTA this week. Check out the extension - it could grow like mad. Anyone? Offers?

I think so, but the tentacles are not usually that light color. Just a case of the camera making changes

I also have them on a rock where they are mixed with one having pink centres. I originally bought them because of the pink centres, but the blue appears stronger..

Christy I have bunches of those. They are one of the better growers. They usually don't look that bright though.. If you look at the picture I posted in the "pictures" forum, there are some like them in picture #3. Under straight actinic lighting they have a dark green circle around the centre. They are also a quick grower.

I might as well put an offer in. Does anyone want me to bring some of the zoos Alan has pictured above? They really are very variable. Under sunlight the centres become bright green. I also have some of the green ones I was selling earlier. I prefer to trade, but that is hard to do at a meeting, because they will be closed up, and you don't know what you are getting. They can be sold too at special meeting prices.

Bob, which zoos are we talking about? The ones he first posted? I have some of those if you want to trade for the reddish ones, or any of the other ones you posted pics of

Bob, if you have a frag of THESE, I would DEFINITELY be interested:

Or any of your others, really... 'Cept the ones we've traded, of course.
Thanks.

Alan there is a problem with those. I have lots of them, but they are the single polyp type rather than mat forming. I really don't know how to frag them except by letting them grow onto something. I will do that, and I will let you know when they are ready.

Those blue ones look cool. I had some blue ones but they're pretty washed out under the MH, I think I'll tuck them into a more shaded area and see what they can do. Anyway, I'd like some of the blues if you have them Bob.

Here is what I have for trades:

OK, I would like some of #2 (from the top down). I can bring a big chunk of the blue ones to the meeting.

Number 2 it is then. Anyone else? You have until 11am my time, then I'm catching a ferry

Perhaps some of #4 too. I can't really tell because of focus problems, but what the hey  If I have nothing to trade, I can give you money, or an extra shot of Cabernet/Merlot

I don't think I have any of your #4, Christy.... which is surprising.

How many frags ya got? I MIGHT be able to find something for trade...

Yes, Alan, that is surprising. I'm sure I shipped some off to you with EmilyB awhile ago  I'll just bring all of them and you guys can duke it out

Thanks Christy!

Off-Topic, BUT: is anyone getting any Ricordia from Jack? Just wondering - too rich for my blood, but seeing some of the U.S. prices, maybe not too bad...
