kinda looks like the american flag. nice or not?

It's not worth $1000 imo, but then again, there's not much I would put in my tank that I consider worth that price range. Some with deep pockets may disagree, I'm sure.

yeah thats a beautiful clam, but price wise, id just get a couple nice ones for cheap and be just as happy lol

I'm not even sure I like it that much. It's unique, that's for sure, but I'm not sure that makes it nice

1000 bucks is way too much. I saw a marble clam at the seamax show for 350 and I thought that was too much, but I guess its supply and demand. If there are guys out there paying 3500 for a red arowana, there bound to be some one out there who is willing to fork out a g-note for it. Just not me. I rather buy equipment.:mrgreen:

It's pretty.. But I've lost too many $65 clams to even THINK of spending that kind of money on a clam that with my luck will end uo being a pretty white empty shell on my shelf 3 months later.

Chances are it won't stay like that as it matures. I had a clam a few years ago that had different designs on each side but as it grew it sorted itself out and ended up having the same basic design on both sides although it was completely different than either of the sides were originally.
